We have been so pleasantly surprised by how much we are enjoying the city of Fresno. Yes, it's stupid hot, but we're dealing with it...LOTS of pool time. There is one outdoor shopping center here, called the Fig Garden, which reminds me so much of two of the shopping centers up at Stanford...great stores, beautiful flowers, etc. The kids and I find one excuse or another to find our way there at least 3-4 times a week. I like to think it's because we're running some very necessary errand there, but usually we find our way there simply to visit the Hungry Bear Cookie Company. YUM! Each kid gets their own cookie, and I get to finish whatever ends up being leftover (usually that's all but a quarter of Charlie's). We sit outside on this one bench and scarf our cookies together. This picture is from our latest trip there; we made Joe join us on our near-daily venture there on his most recent Monday off-day.

Hungry Bear Cookie Company...Mmmmm
