We came out to L.A. for Joe to have surgery, and boy, did we ever get spoiled in the process! We've been here shuttling back and forth between our parents' homes for a bit over two weeks now, and we have had an absolute ball. Ellie is in LOVE with her grandparents and has gotten to do so many fun activities with them....swimming with floaties for the first time (huge hit!), playing in the blow-up kiddie pool, dressing up in her first tu-tu, playing in the water at the Long Beach Aquarium, beginning the potty-training process, etc. Best of all, though, Joe and I have felt totally babied and spoiled this whole time by our sweet and way-too-generous parents. Joe just moved up to Stanford today to begin his summer classes on Tuesday. Ellie and will follow in just a couple of days after some doctors' appointments on Monday. So fun to be beginning this new adventure finally. I have to admit, though, that we are SO sick of relocating every three months!!!
