Our dear friends here in Fresno, the Wood family, introduced me and the kids to the yummiest, most darling french bakery the other morning. The girlies gorged themselves on cinnamon rolls and quiche, while Charlie slept and the mommies chatted. Ellie adores the Wood girls, Franchesca, Daniella, and Gemma (you should hear her try to say each of their names!...ha!). She calls them "The Big Girls" and wants to do EVERYTHING that they do in just the same way that they do it. And you know what?, I couldn't have picked better role models for her myself. What beautiful, sweet, fun, thoughtful, and well-behaved little girls they are.

Brunch with "The Big Girls"
