Easter at Church

I do hate to say this, but church is such a task with two young kiddos.  I get about 10 minutes out of 60, where I feel like I'm absorbing some of what's being said.  So much effort is put forth keeping them quiet that I get very little chance to feel any kind of holiness.  That being said, though, I love taking my family to church and beginning that tradition for my children.  As my mom always tells me, it is during this time that I am making an investment in my kids by teaching them how to sit through a service respectfully, etc.  Ellie and Charlie each had to be removed several times on Easter Sunday, BUT we made it through Communion!  And...they were far better behaved than some of the other kids there.  E and C were far from perfect but they didn't embarrass us this time=).

After church, the Easter Bunny was waiting outside to greet the kids!  What a surprise for Ellie.  Anna threw her right up there with him, put her hand in his, and walked away.  Ellie must've been a bit scared, but she totally hung in there, and she ended up being so proud of herself...she's STILL telling me that she's a "big girl" because she held the Easter Bunny's hand!
