Our little "Charlie" (Joseph Charles Borchard) was born on July 5th in Pasadena at 3:26pm. He weighed in at 8lbs 4.1 oz and measured 21 and 3/4 inches long. He has BOATS for feet and long, "spidey" fingers. He's healthy as can be...and boy, does he have a set of lungs. For the most part, though, he's calm as can be...what a sweet baby. He was super easy on me and came into this world after only 2 contractions worth of pushing. I also got an epidural before I ever felt any pain...SO the way to go! What a fantastic, enjoyable, romantic day it was for me and Joe! Ellie loves her Baby Charlie; she can even say his name already. She's not super happy with me, however, and she's been acting up a bit lately. I think she's decided that 20 months is the perfect mark for her to enter her "terrible twos."
