An hour after leaving the goi-gois in the mail box, we took her back outside and had her open it up again. Inside, in exchange for the pacifiers, the fairy left her a Disney princesses magic wand .....aaaaaaah!...things are looking up...maybe it was worth it, after all! She even yelled up to the start in the sky, "Thank you, Goi-Goi Fairy!" Too cute. That night going to bed actually went really smoothly. She took FOREVER to fall asleep, and I had to go up there a couple of times to ask her to be quiet, but she was a pretty good sport about it. She did, however, tell me on my last trip up to her room, "You can have your goi-goi now." Oh, break my heart! She only woke up one time in the night, and Joe was able to get her to go back to sleep easily. Nap times have been another thing entirely, though! Ugh, it's impossible to get her to calm down enough to fall asleep without her pacifier. Grrrrr. No rest for momma! I depend on my nap time break...oh well...we'll get there.
